Lindsay Woolward is a senior security consultant specializing in helping clients quantify their security ROI; navigate complex design, construction, and integration projects; and chart a path forward to maximize their security program’s ability to mitigate risk while minimizing overall security spend.
Mr. Woolward’s engagements start with client-first knowledge building, establishing a detailed understanding of the unique operational, organizational, and physical landscape, which define each client’s security risk. He conducts first-principles security risk analysis (i.e., deconstructing threats to their basic, fundamental elements instead of relying on vendor-driven methodology to build defenses), security operations assessment, and security master planning. This approach ensures that clients are investing in the right security at the most effective locations for their unique needs.
Mr. Woolward has advised a wide variety of clients, including city, county, and state governments, critical water and power infrastructure, K-12 school districts, universities and other institutions of higher education, transportation authorities, and corporations.
Prior to joining Guidepost, Mr. Woolward founded a security technology company that built first-in-the-world security risk models and data dashboards for universities, national manufacturers, and multinational corporations. His models provided a wealth of security data as well as a straight-forward way to manage physical security programs based on consistent ROI analysis.
