Denis Corder is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience in corporate and physical security, access control, project management, and system design architecture. Mr. Corder focuses on delivering comprehensive security solutions for clients across the aviation, medical, real estate, and corporate sectors.
In his current role, Mr. Corder advises clients on physical security, crisis management, and compliance monitoring. He specializes in the design, deployment, and optimization of complex security infrastructure, including video monitoring and access control systems. He handles matters involving system design and blueprint markup using BIM software, IT network deployments, and technology integration. Mr. Corder supports a diverse clientele by providing strategic oversight to fine-tune system alerts, enhance true event detection rates, and ensure operational continuity.
Prior to joining Guidepost, Mr. Corder held various leadership and technical roles spanning corporate security, system engineering, and project management. He served as a military police officer for the United States Department of Defense, where he performed security, law enforcement, and investigative duties while troubleshooting communication and biometric identification systems. In his subsequent corporate career, he led project teams and supervised the installation of enterprise-level building management systems to ensure secure access and continuous video monitoring.
Mr. Corder has led complex projects involving the end-to-end design and redesign of security models for client expansions and decommissions. His expertise includes managing vendor relations, facilitating access control system deployments, and conducting server and hardware upgrades across global enterprise environments. He also has extensive experience mitigating risk and developing training procedures to ensure operational personnel maintain strict system guidance and electronic audit record safekeeping.
Mr. Corder earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from DeVry University. He holds several professional technical certifications, including MAC Integration, Lenel Networks, Genetec 5.10.XX Enterprise, and Cisco Security Engineering.
