Christopher Day is a senior managing director at Guidepost Solutions. Mr. Day is a distinguished leader with extensive expertise in complex investigations, undercover operations, and strategic risk management. He brings a proven history of managing risk for clients across the healthcare, professional sports, and entertainment sectors.

At Guidepost, Mr. Day advises clients on comprehensive security risk management, executive protection, and specialized investigative matters. He is recognized for his ability to align operational strategies with organizational objectives, particularly when navigating intricate regulatory landscapes and multi-jurisdictional challenges. His leadership extends to developing training programs and building high-performing teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional results for clients.

Mr. Day brings a broad and sophisticated investigative background, including extensive experience in surveillance and the execution of undercover and covert operations. His expertise also spans international money laundering, criminal street gangs, computer crimes, and digital forensics. He is formally trained and certified in interview and interrogation techniques, which he leverages to navigate complex matters requiring strategic insight and disciplined evidence development. In addition to his operational work, Mr. Day has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development and mentorship, having served as an adjunct instructor in Justice Studies and as a firearms instructor.

Immediately prior to joining Guidepost, Mr. Day held senior leadership roles within the medical device industry, where he directed strategic market expansion and business development initiatives. In recognition of his sustained high performance, he received numerous awards for excellence, including corporate honors and membership in performance-based recognition clubs for consistently delivering strong results over multiple years.

Mr. Day’s background includes leadership roles within a large municipal police department in the Northeast, where he served as a sergeant and as a detective in the Special Investigations Unit. He also served as a task force officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), where he was a member of both the Special Reaction Team and the Clandestine Laboratory Team. His public sector career was defined by high-risk operations and complex investigative work, for which he received several prestigious awards and formal recognition. During his tenure with the DEA, Mr. Day played a critical role in addressing the opioid crisis, leading complex fentanyl trafficking investigations and overdose death cases. He collaborated extensively with local, state, and federal partners to identify and dismantle criminal organizations responsible for the distribution of illicit narcotics. Additionally, he served in a leadership role on a newly established multi-agency task force, formed in coordination with senior government officials, that developed and implemented standardized protocols, policies, and procedures to support surrounding municipalities in effectively investigating and managing overdose-related fatalities.

Mr. Day earned a Master of Justice Administration from Norwich University, graduating cum laude with a 4.0 GPA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Saint Anselm College. His credentials include certifications in Crisis Intervention Team training and various specialized investigative disciplines.
