Amelia Szczuchniak is a dedicated and detail-oriented associate director in our Digital Investigations + Executive Protection practice group with a strong background in cybersecurity and technical analysis. Her computer science studies gave her a strong foundation in computing, networking, and computer systems, which she applies daily to complex investigative work to support the company’s research initiatives and contribute to its ongoing success.
Before joining Guidepost, Ms. Szczuchniak worked as a cybersecurity analyst, conducting research and investigations into individuals, organizations, and cyber incidents, as well as supporting security assessments of networks and websites. She also led cybersecurity training for technical and non-technical audiences, reflecting a consistent strength in translating complex technical issues into accessible terms.
Since joining Guidepost, Ms. Szczuchniak has contributed to a broad range of investigations, from enhanced due diligence and cross-border compliance matters to international investigations and AML/CTF-related reviews. She has developed particular depth in deep and dark web and breach data research, routinely mining leaked and compromised datasets to identify and correlate individuals and pseudonymous identities. Drawing on this work alongside public record databases and a variety of specialized OSINT tools, she has successfully unmasked both domestic and international threat actors operating on social media or contacting clients directly, and regularly conducts in-depth digital vulnerability assessments for HNW and UHNW individuals.
Ms. Szczuchniak has also supported highly specialized cybersecurity- and breach data-related litigation matters, contributing to the preparation of expert reports. She brings strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to turn fragmented data into clear and actionable findings. Her adaptability and clear communication, paired with a strong understanding of client needs, ensure her work delivers reliable results.
