Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in domestic and international investigations, compliance solutions, monitoring, and security and technology consulting, today announced the promotion of Ramone A. Kegler to associate vice president in the firm’s Healthcare, Education and Life Safety practice. His promotion reflects the firm’s commitment to help healthcare systems, learning institutions, and other mission-critical organizations navigate heightened expectations around safety, operational resilience, and technology modernization.
In his new role, Kegler will deliver end-to-end security and risk advisory support from assessments and program design to technology implementation and ongoing monitoring by leveraging his expertise in enterprise access control, digital video, system testing, upgrades, and commissioning to address complex security and operational challenges. He will also oversee a team of life safety, network infrastructure and security professionals who focus on the healthcare and education sectors.

Kegler’s more than 20 years of experience in enterprise physical security systems, program/project management, and the implementation and maintenance of complex, enterprise networked security solutions have helped strengthen preparedness and continuity in healthcare, education and life safety organizations operating in highly regulated and mission‑critical environments.
Prior to his promotion, Kegler served as a principal consultant at Guidepost Solutions. He coordinated closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure client deliverables, milestones, and deadlines were met and supported the development of internal processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
Kegler has significant experience in healthcare environments, having previously served as a security systems specialist for Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, where he managed and administered hospital‑wide as well as primary care clinics throughout the Dallas Forth Worth Metroplex security systems, led multiple Lenel OnGuard installations and upgrades, and designed and implemented security systems training programs for dispatchers, operators, and leadership teams.
Earlier in his career, Kegler held roles in field service, project management, and network services, supporting large‑scale communications and security infrastructure projects across the United States. He also served more than nine years in the United States Army, holding leadership roles in telecommunications, supply, and logistics.
