Experience

Guidepost Solutions delivered a full suite of low voltage technologies, including security, fire alarm, telecommunications, and audiovisual design and consulting services for the $35 million renovation project to redesign of the University of Southern California (USC) Heritage Hall into a proper showcase of USC Trojan athletic history. The hall features a state-of-the art “Heisman Lobby” museum space with interactive exhibits, a sports performance center, communications center, student-athlete lounge, event space, and administrative offices.

Our team designed a telecommunications infrastructure that included the coordination of spaces and pathways for telephone, data, and wireless systems within the building. Audiovisual systems included video walls/projection, electronic displays, distributed and localized program audio, sound reinforcement, high-definition digital media content review and management stations, meeting space technology, and control systems. We also updated the fire alarm system to reach the renovated spaces and meet all required state and local codes, while remaining flexible and expandable for future changes. Lastly, our security system included video surveillance cameras, biometric readers, card readers, intrusion alarms, intelligent video analytics and viewing stations.
