Guidepost Solutions was engaged by a Community College to develop a complete Campus Physical Security Plan providing technical, strategic, and operational directives to mitigate risks and deter criminal behavior. Guidepost assessed and made recommendations for improvements across three main areas: Operational Security, Technical Systems , and Physical/Architectural Security. Key deliverables provided included a comprehensive Strategic Implementation Plan defining priorities, future project costs, maintenance plans, and sequencing, as well as an assessment of existing systems, maps for surveillance coverage, and new security system maintenance specification. This project was scheduled to take approximately eight months, from its kickoff to a final presentation and was completed on time and within budget.
