Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in domestic and international investigations, compliance solutions, monitoring, and security and technology consulting, today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Julie Myers Wood, has been shortlisted for WashingtonExec’s 2026 Chief Officer Awards CEO of the Year. The Chief Officer Awards recognize the executives shaping the future, honoring groundbreaking innovators and mission-driven leaders across industry and government.
Wood was recognized for her transformative leadership of Guidepost Solutions, under which the firm achieved substantial revenue growth in 2025, expanded its global compliance footprint, and secured landmark engagements that have reshaped industry standards.

With more than 30 years of experience across the public and private sectors, including leadership roles at the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, Commerce, Treasury, and at the White House, Wood brings a rare perspective to the firm’s global work. She led the expansion of its Latin American presence, including a growing Mexico City office, and drove growth across the firm’s DEA Regulatory, AI, Privacy, and Security practices. Under her direction, Guidepost Solutions was accepted into the NIST Commerce Consortium on AI and acquired Pallas Global, a women-owned compliance and investigative firm.
Under Wood’s leadership, Guidepost has secured several high-profile engagements and developed the compliance framework for the Republic of the Marshall Islands’ USDM1 stablecoin, the world’s first interest-bearing stablecoin offered by a sovereign nation. She also directed expansion of the firm’s Executive Protection practice in response to growing concerns around executive safety.
A recognized expert and speaker on AI, immigration, and national security, Wood serves as a Leader of the Council on National Security and Immigration, a Board Member of the Migration Policy Institute, a Leadership Council Member for Women in National Security, an Advisory Board Member of the National Security Institute at the Antonin Scalia Law School, and a member of the International Association of Independent Corporate Monitors.
