Guidepost Solutions Accelerates Latin America Growth with Strategic Hires
Nicolas Letts and Jorge Zendejas join the firm’s expanding LATAM Team, Enhancing Investigations, Compliance, Intelligence, and Security Capabilities Across the Region
Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in domestic and international investigations, compliance solutions, monitoring, and security and technology consulting, is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its Latin America team with the addition of Nicolas Letts as managing director, and Jorge Zendejas as associate director. Based in the firm’s Mexico City office, both will report to Juan David Leal, who leads Guidepost Solutions’ operations in Mexico. These strategic hires further strengthen the firm’s ability to assist clients with complex investigative, compliance, intelligence, security, and risk-related matters throughout Latin America.

The growth of the Guidepost Solutions Latin America practice reflects increasing client demand for experienced advisors who understand the region’s unique political, regulatory, security, and business environments. Working from the firm’s Mexico City office and collaborating with colleagues across the LATAM team, Letts and Zendejas will support clients facing high-stakes matters involving investigations, fraud, corruption, compliance, security threats, reputational concerns, and enterprise risk.
Letts brings more than 20 years of experience advising multinational companies, boards, and senior executives on enterprise risk management, political and security risk, forensic investigations, fraud prevention, compliance, and strategic decision-making across Latin America. Prior to joining Guidepost Solutions, his career included positions with the United Nations, the Organization of American States, and the International Crisis Group. Letts is an attorney and a Certified Fraud Examiner and holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics.
Zendejas has extensive experience in corporate investigations, intelligence, security, organized crime, fraud, anti-money laundering, cyber incidents, and political and social risk analysis. Most recently, he served as associate vice president and senior investigator with Citi Security and Investigative Services. His prior experience includes leadership and investigative roles with J.S. Held, Lantia Intelligence, and the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia (CNI), Mexico’s civilian intelligence agency, where he directed a public policy unit focused on risk assessments, elections, and corruption matters. Zendejas holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from El Colegio de México.
