Mark Dodge is a senior analyst at Guidepost Solutions with extensive experience in government contracts, litigation support, procurement, and electronic discovery. He is licensed in the District of Columbia and holds an active Secret Security Clearance.
Mr. Dodge has served as a contract attorney, reviewing and analyzing complex legal claims submitted to a class action settlement trust. He applied trust distribution procedures to ensure fairness and compliance, conducted detailed evaluations of supporting documentation, and communicated directly with claimants to facilitate accurate and timely processing.
His experience also includes service as an eDiscovery attorney, where he managed high-volume document reviews for complex litigation and investigations. Using Relativity eDiscovery software, he uncovered key evidence, safeguarded privileged information, and flagged potential risks critical to case strategy, ensuring accuracy and consistency across large-scale review projects.
He served as a trial attorney with the Department of the Navy, Office of General Counsel, representing the Navy in high-stakes contract disputes under the Contract Disputes Act and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). His responsibilities encompassed drafting pleadings, directing discovery, conducting depositions and fact investigations, and coordinating expert support teams that included expert witnesses, forensic accountants, and technical consultants. He also collaborated with the Department of Justice on matters before the Court of Federal Claims.
Mr. Dodge also served as a warranted contracting officer and senior contracts manager at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In that capacity, he oversaw hundreds of contracts annually and managed approximately $4 million in transactions. He led acquisition planning for major projects, conducted market analyses to improve efficiency, managed post-award activities, and provided FAR training to staff and program partners.
