Emergency Supply Provision Mexico

In October 2023, a category 5 hurricane hit the Acapulco coast, causing widespread destruction, killing more than 40 people, and causing more than $15 billion in damage. The family of an ultra-high-net-worth client retained Guidepost to ensure the safety and security of numerous family members, whose homes and belongings were devastated by the storm. As supplies were dwindling, members of the Guidepost team were mobilized in Mexico City to provide an armed convoy for food, water, satellite phones, and other necessary supplies. After the first delivery, armed agents remained with the family while other members of the team made the dangerous journey from Mexico City to Acapulco, several more times, until power had been restored and the family felt safe in their home.
