Jason Goree is an engineer with over 25 years of experience in the design of commercial fire and life safety systems. He has completed numerous fire alarm design projects in existing buildings as well as new construction including education facilities, multi-building campuses, medical facilities, residential facilities, high-rise buildings, manufacturing facilities, and shopping malls.
Prior to joining Guidepost, Mr. Goree was an Advanced Fire Systems Senior Engineer. As a senior engineer, he designed fire alarm systems for buildings, including floorplan drawings for system device locations, riser diagrams, device wiring details, panel mounting and wiring details, bills of materials, and sequences of operations to meet the intent of the project plans, specifications, and contract documents. Also, he provided general electrical calculations, including battery calculations, voltage drop calculations, conduit fills, and power supply sizing.
