Forced Labor (UFLPA) Compliance

The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) is a U.S. law designed to stop goods made with forced labor from entering the country. It targets the Xinjiang region of China, where Uyghurs and other minority groups have been subjected to forced labor.

As of June 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) assumes that any goods made in Xinjiang—or by companies linked to forced labor—are banned from being imported into the U.S. Businesses must provide solid evidence to prove otherwise if they want to import these products.

If your company sources products globally, you know how difficult it can be to ensure every link in your supply chain meets evolving legal and ethical standards—one misstep can lead to reputational damage and costly delays.
