Experience

Guidepost Solutions provided an overall security strategy to manage access to Harvard Business School’s Klarman Hall. Our team’s plan included a tactical means to mitigate the risk of adverse security events deriving from unfettered vehicular traffic and the lack of restricting pedestrian movement. We identified potential threat conditions and evaluated security from several perspectives to cover possible extraordinary threats from vehicle impact and explosive blast situations during the new construction project. The primary focus was to assess all viable threats and devise strategies to decrease the risk of those threats from materializing. In addition, we reviewed the security drawings and provided recommendations with respect to crowd control management and improved cost-efficient security technology (video surveillance and access reader control) options.
