Tim Olson SET

Principal Consultant

Tim Olson has over 31 years of experience in the fire alarm industry, designing and managing many different projects. He has completed numerous fire alarm design projects in existing buildings as well as new construction including education facilities, multi-building campus systems, medical facilities, residential facilities, high-rise buildings, and shopping malls. Mr. Olson is highly skilled at project management activities including planning, scheduling, labor resource allocation, management and logistics, and multi-disciplinary coordination including Authorities Having Jurisdiction. He strives to develop positive client relationships by pro-actively managing the client experience with regular communication and follow-up.

Prior to joining Guidepost, Mr. Olson was a project manager at Sabah International, where he was responsible for fire alarm system design including implementation planning, system specifications. He managed customer relationships, interfaced with engineers and project teams, defined project scope and labor estimates, and managed project financials.
