Robert Brisolari

Senior Managing Director

Robert Brisolari is an experienced senior leader, having held executive level positions in the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as publicly traded, and privately held companies. He has demonstrated an exceptional record of success conducting complex investigations, leading the controlled substances compliance program of a Fortune 500 company and large financial investigative teams, navigating domestic and international crises, and ensuring emergency preparedness for a U.S. government agency.

Most recently, Mr. Brisolari was vice president for Regulatory Affairs at McKesson Corporation leading the company’s Controlled Substances Monitoring Program (CSMP). In this role, he oversaw due diligence reviews of retail pharmacies, hospital systems and government agencies; ensured regulatory compliance; developed and implemented CSMP policies, procedures, practices, and training; and acted as a liaison with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, the National Association of Controlled Substances Authorities; and other supply chain industry groups.

After several decades serving in the DEA as a special agent, Mr. Brisolari joined the Deloitte Advisory leadership team. There he developed and led teams of financial investigators assigned to federal law enforcement agencies. In addition, he was instrumental in developing a Network Analysis and Targeting program that proved highly effective for federal law enforcement agencies.

During his more than 20 years with the DEA, Mr. Brisolari served in various assignments, and retired as a member of the Senior Executive Service as DEA’s Chief of Operations Management. In this critically important leadership role, he is credited with establishing and directing all operational policy, procedures, and guidelines for the DEA worldwide, leading DEA’s crisis management, disaster recovery, and emergency preparedness programs. Mr. Brisolari also managed a $700 million operational budget and oversaw the DEA’s data and accountability section responsible for ensuring the Administration’s compliance with its own policies and DOJ requirements for government accountability.

During his DEA career, Mr. Brisolari held several other senior positions. These included assistant special agent-in-charge of the DEA Washington Division Office, senior advisor to the DEA Administrator, section chief for Enforcement Operations, supervisory special agent in the Baltimore District Office, staff coordinator in the Special Operations Division and special agent in the New York Field Division.  Prior to his service as a DEA Special Agent, Mr. Brisolari served in the U.S. State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service as a special agent in the New York Field Division.
