James Jenkinson has over 20 years of experience in the security operations and telecommunications technology industry. His expertise is in the systems side of security encompasses installation, design, technical support, bid management and development of security design proposal packages.

As project manager, his practical approach and ability to comprehend the whole project allows him to seamlessly integrate with the technical and install teams. Add to this, his structured approach which allows  for the project to be managed through to a successful completion.

His skills include IP networking, IP CCTV, access control, and the ability to specify from tenders and drawings.

Prior to joining Guidepost, Mr. Jenkinson worked with manufacturers and distributors, including a major UK distributor of IP CCTV, access control and intruder detection systems for large scale critical national infrastructure, sports and leisure, logistics and transportation, and healthcare markets. He also consulted on large data centre and pharmaceutical projects, where he helped to develop client requirements through design and installation.

Mr. Jenkinson is a trained electrician, electronics engineer and technical support engineer, with focus on access control and CCTV renovation.

Did You Know?

In 1996, while working at the local post office, which has been in the family for 5 generations, James sold a jackpot winning lottery ticket to the local milkman after accidently pressing a wrong button.
