Terry K. King is an expert in the design, consultation, and implementation of electronic security solutions. He has more than 25 years of experience in both security consulting services and systems integration.
Mr. King specializes in large, new construction commercial projects placing an emphasis on effective communication between critical stakeholders and all associated trades and partners. Further, he has significant experience in the development of design standards for electronic solutions in both the commercial and public sectors, spanning a wide range of vertical markets.
During his career, Mr. King has worked with leading security consulting and engineering organizations, managed nationwide integration services and strategy, opened and cultivated branch offices, developed multi-disciplined teams, and served as an owner/partner for a security solutions provider.
In addition to his design and engineering experience, Mr. King has a significant background in the assessment and analysis of existing facilities, including security systems, operational security, and standard operating procedures. His expertise extends to the program/project management of large-scale implementation projects, and the administration of standardized systems.
Mr. King is a subject matter expert in the field of systems integration in key markets such as data centers, pharmaceuticals, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, financial and commercial real estate. He has written and presented on these subjects in online publications and at numerous security conferences. In his capacity as Regional Director for Guidepost’s EMEA and APAC markets, Mr. King has extended oversight from technology and consulting to subjects that include supply chain assessments, European Union regulatory requirements and international financial issues.
