Sophie L. Kravet, a former prosecutor, focuses her work at Guidepost on complex and multi-jurisdictional criminal and civil investigations, compliance, and security matters for organizations and individuals.

Before Guidepost, Ms. Kravet most recently served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.  She presented felony cases to the Grand Jury, and handled matters from intake to investigation, motion practice, and trial.

Ms. Kravet has extensive experience prosecuting or otherwise representing parties involved in domestic violence and sex crimes cases, as well as internet privacy and Title IX matters.

As part of her continuing interest in the prevention of sexual assault, gender violence, and child abuse, Ms. Kravet has prepared and delivered educational presentations to school populations from grade six to college students.

Ms. Kravet is a member of the New York State Bar.  She received her Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in New York, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
