John Dummett is an innovative and versatile security expert, with more than 15 years of experience delivering customer–focused, operational quality solutions in challenging security, operations and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) settings.
Mr. Dummett is an expert in current enterprise card access systems, IP–based CCTV systems, and intrusion monitoring technologies. Mr. Dummett has a proven track record of securing high risk industrial and commercial facilities. His approach factors process, policy and physical security manpower into security technology deployments; maximizing delivered value to the organization. He additionally has a unique background in leveraging security technologies in supply chain operations and in developing value–generating loss source metrics to reduce operating costs. Further, Mr. Dummett has a demonstrated track record of success leading and coordinating teams in contract guard service management, project management, business continuity and disaster recovery, regulatory process compliance including OSHA and DOT criteria and extensive experience working with municipal jurisdictions and first response government agencies.
Prior to joining Guidepost Solutions, Mr. Dummett rose through the ranks of corporate security, EHS and loss prevention programs and held high level management positions in both the retail industry and wholesale regulated substance industry.
