Connie Brandon, a security consultant at Guidepost Solutions, brings more than 20 years of business experience in roles such as private ownership, human resources, and physical security management.
Ms. Brandon’s physical security responsibilities have included physical security operations and management, operational risk threat, vulnerability assessment and surveys, guard force management, operational efficiencies, emergency response deployment/management and training initiatives; investigations; staff and budget management; policy and procedure development; compliance audits – security device placement/compliance (spots & dots); conducts security vendor bid specifications, and contract negotiation. She has expertise in managing multiple client projects, identifying areas of vulnerability for remediation, and developing recommendations for corrective action. Ms. Brandon’s market sector experience includes government, construction, healthcare, utilities, data centers, residential, global logistics, and corporate.
Before joining Guidepost, Ms. Brandon held several positions within Securitas, including branch manager, account, and field service manager. She was responsible for maintaining client relationships and enhancement of the overall client security program, managing security operations, and leading, training and developing security officers to align with corporate objectives.
Ms. Brandon earned an Associate of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Security Management both from the University of Phoenix. Certified as a CPP through ASIS and is an active member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International, where she serves as an active board member to the North Texas Chapter. She is also a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professional (ATAP), InfraGard and volunteers for her community as a Community Emergency Response Team member under the CERT organization.
