Position: Research Analyst
Location: New York
This is a full-time position that requires an individual to fulfill multiple roles during daily office operations and within a project. Provides support by keeping track of project phases and ensuring its effectiveness and proper completion.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and complete concise reports summarizing information by working with case managers
- Conducts background check investigations utilizing open-source media research techniques, utilizing local and district court data
- Based on the scope of projects, may interview client employees, coordinate technical support, and order records with outside vendors
- Support business development and marketing efforts by researching companies, persons, or business areas
- Assist with new business presentations
- Work with other researchers collaboratively for an exchange of ideas
- Extensive utilization of databases both internally and externally
- Assist in project management
- Compliance with the company’s mandatory vaccine policy

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- A minimum of four (4) years experience conducting public records research, including familiarity with Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, and similar proprietary and public databases
- Strong internet research, writing, data analysis, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
