DOJ Restocks Congress Liaison Team as Republicans Circle

The Department of Justice has reportedly hired several oversight veterans for its Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA) in anticipation of increased scrutiny from Republicans in Congress. Crystal Jezierski suggests in a recent article that the OLA will work to strike a collaborative tone with the House Republican majority that could help the DOJ prevail in a potential contempt of Congress lawsuit.
