Guidepost, in the first stage of an investigation conducted by counsel for the institution, investigated the finances of the institution to determine whether monies had flowed from the institution to Central American facilitates where it was alleged sexual abuse had been ongoing on the youth at those institutions. In the second phase of the investigation, Guidepost investigated allegations of numerous instances of sexual abuse at the facilities and provided counsel with facts and information not available through the discovery process.
