Federal Agency

Guidepost conducted administrative investigations into allegations of employee misconduct to provide management with factual evidence and information to make appropriate human capital decisions.  Using experienced investigators, Guidepost performed a preliminary assessment to determine the proper assignment and resources required to conduct a thorough investigation. As part of the investigation, our team reviewed the allegations; obtained and reviewed agency records, court records, open-source information, and other relevant documents; scheduled and conducted in-person or virtual interviews with witnesses, complainants, other relevant persons, and the subject of the allegation; and obtained written statements taken under oath.

Investigators followed up on leads obtained during the initial investigative steps, which included additional interviews and evidence collection. We prepared a comprehensive investigative report that was submitted to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for review by the Office of Legal Services (OLS). Investigators conducted additional investigative steps or made modifications based on OLS review. The final report documented any substantiation of the allegation and, along with evidentiary exhibits, provided to the agency with recommendations for appropriate action as deemed necessary.
