UCSF Telemedicine Teaching & Learning Center

Guidepost Solutions completed a remodeling project at the University of California, San Francisco to provide a new Medical Simulation and Clinical Skills Learning Center.

The project consisted of remodeling 22,000 square feet at its Kalmanovitz Library to construct medical simulation environments, including surgical suites and exam rooms with additional spaces for session control and review; smart classrooms; telemedicine facilities; a computer learning center; and a network hub to connect the facility to the university’s new high-speed network, NGMAN. We also provided the design for its audiovisual and telemedicine systems; and security, voice and data communications infrastructure. Our work involved the production of drawings, schedules and specifications for these systems.
