Consuelo (Connie) Brandon, a senior security consultant, brings more than 20 years of business experience that spans from a wide variety of sectors. She has provided security consulting best practices in various industries such as healthcare, supply chain, critical infrastructure, corporate headquarters, education, and data centers.
Ms. Brandon’s project experience includes physical security penetration testing, security operations, operational risk, threat assessments, and site hardening. Her expertise includes implementing Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) security mitigation strategies, guard force management, and policy/procedure governance review and enhancements. Additionally, she specializes in K-12 and higher education readiness and emergency management, workplace violence-active assailant prevention training, response, and incident management.
Prior to Guidepost, Ms. Brandon worked with several clients implementing security measures to protect company assets, developing guard force readiness and emergency response, and authoring necessary policies and procedures to align corporate objectives.
Ms. Brandon is a Certified Protection Professional through ASIS International and through the International Foundation of Cultural Property. She is an active member of ASIS International and the Association of Threat Assessment Professional which specializes in the identification, assessment, prevention, and management of targeted violence. Other affiliations include InfraGard, and she also serves in the Dallas community as an Emergency Response Disaster Recovery volunteer member under the Dallas CERT organization.
