Security professional, Michael A. Keeper, holds more than 17 years of experience specializing in physical security and 24/7 data center command centers. He is skilled at collaborating with internal stakeholders and outside vendors to resolve issues, managing repair schedules and repair tickets, maintaining program budgets, and spearheading processes to provide significant cost savings.
In his previous role, Mr. Keeper was responsible for managing the organization’s 24/7 global command center, where he reviewed and coordinated all physical security impairments. He collaborated with internal operations and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve security issues, while managing adequate repair schedules that ensured acceptable timeframes for part sourcing. He also conducted cross analysis of parts and services to minimize overhead. In this role, he used Milestone, Avigilon, Lenel, and BioConnect daily.
Mr. Keeper began his career as a security reaction force team leader in the U.S. Navy. He served as a subject matter expert providing tactical consulting for response to various threats against naval vessel, personnel, pier, and assets, including bomb threat, pier penetration, small boat attack, and active shooter. He orchestrated and conducted weekly tactical training, and participated in naval battle readiness exercises.
