James Jenkinson is a Project Manager in the International practice group covering a variety of projects throughout EMEA. James is a seasoned security professional with over 25 years of experience in all elements of the security industry, including operations, infrastructure, technology and telecommunications technology. James specializes in security systems assessments, systems design, installation oversight, and hostile vehicle mitigation solutions.
In his current capacity, James is the EMEA Team’s most technical resource relative to the understanding and integration of electronic solutions and IT elements. James’ breadth of experience includes technical consulting, engineered solutions, project management, and ensuring the seamless integration with the client’s technical and installation teams. His structured methodology is proven in the successful execution of projects across EMEA. With direct influence throughout the RIBA process, James has extensive experience from initial planning concepts to final project commissioning. While his background includes very significant technical elements of networking, video, access control, and secured communications, James has developed his pallet of experience through all aspects of the security technology consulting framework.
Prior to joining Guidepost, Mr. Jenkinson worked with integrators, manufacturers and distributors, including a major global integrator for large scale critical national infrastructure, sports and leisure, logistics and transportation, and healthcare markets. He also consulted on large data centre and pharmaceutical projects, where he helped to develop client requirements through design and installation.
