Jordan Nott

Director

Mr. Jordan Nott is a director within the Guidepost Technology Advisory Services division, advising corporations and governments on all aspects of criminal and regulatory enforcement matters; these include Anti-Money Laundering program design, and implementation of anti-fraud controls and integrity programs. He is a data and analytics professional with extensive experience designing and deploying technology-driven solutions to address complex challenges in regulatory and financial services environments. He has led cross-functional teams in the development of tools and models that support risk identification, compliance monitoring, and investigative efforts.

Mr. Nott has directed the full lifecycle of analytics and model development efforts, including customer risk scoring, identity verification, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening. He has implemented automated systems to evaluate the performance of transaction monitoring and surveillance platforms and guided the transition to machine learning-based tools. His work has improved operational efficiency and enhanced compliance with regulatory expectations.

In previous roles, Mr. Nott built scalable frameworks and visualizations to support anomaly detection and market abuse investigations. He helped develop and validate tools for trade surveillance and regulatory reporting, and his efforts uncovered unregulated transactions that resulted in formal regulatory actions. He also held leadership responsibilities related to team development, engagement, and process oversight.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Nott served as a financial analyst where he conducted risk and regulatory reviews for large financial institutions. He created models and tools used across supervisory agencies to assess interest rate risk, earnings vulnerability, and capital adequacy. He also contributed to the analysis of market conditions and systemic threats during periods of financial instability.
Mr. Nott holds a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Financial Risk Manager, and a Commissioned Bank Examiner.
