Analyst

Hazel Klitenic is an analyst at Guidepost Solutions. Ms. Klitenic focuses on providing analytical support for investigations, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments. She has experience assisting diverse practice groups, including financial institutions, faith-based organizations, and emerging issues, serving clients across corporate, institutional, and regulatory sectors.

Ms. Klitenic specializes in gathering background intelligence, conducting interviews, and compiling comprehensive threat assessments. She assists clients by drafting and editing institutional assessments and internal investigation reports to address potential vulnerabilities and ensure operational compliance. She additionally supports bank monitorships by reviewing and analyzing documents regarding financial institutional misconduct.

Prior to her appointment as an analyst, Ms. Klitenic served as an investigative and compliance intern at Guidepost, where she supported complex casework and business development initiatives. She also earned experience as a student researcher in a multi-year foreign relations program focused on international policy, political philosophy, and human rights. In this capacity, she conducted in-depth research on institutional governance and presented her findings to large public audiences.

Ms. Klitenic graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and French from Georgetown University. She also completed advanced studies in French language and civilization at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and participated in an academic immersion program in Rennes, France.
