He specializes in evaluating security maturity, strengthening operational policies, and guiding the implementation of integrated security systems for large-scale projects. His work involves collaborating with architects and owners to align technical requirements with project milestones while managing vendor relationships and driving compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Prior to joining Guidepost, Mr. Martell held senior leadership positions in professional services and security technology management. He oversaw cross-functional teams of program managers, solutions architects, and engineers to drive operational standardization and global delivery cycles. His experience spanned corporate and consulting environments where he led initiatives to modernize infrastructure, improve organizational efficiency, and establish governance across complex stakeholder groups.
Mr. Martell has a track record of delivering technical excellence in high-visibility environments, including the design of a mission-critical, fault-tolerant system for a global international body’s campus in New York City. He architected custom integration solutions utilizing RESTful APIs and JSON to unify disparate software systems into centralized command centers. Additionally, he was instrumental in building scalable success frameworks and standardizing technical documentation to ensure long-term operational performance and reliable project outcomes.
Mr. Martell earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator and holds professional certifications in network administration and engineering.
