Mr. Mortazavi brings 16 years of experience in low voltage engineering and security industry to the Guidepost Solutions team. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for the design of low voltage systems for commercial, industrial and institutional projects including: office buildings, educational, religious, data centers, libraries, fire stations, retail spaces, hospitals, medical offices, and high rises. Additionally, his experience includes further involvement in the design of standard and emergency lighting systems; performing circuiting fault current and voltage drop calculations; and analyses and moderate power distribution design. He has also performed design services for:
- General power
- Motor control centers
- Power distribution boards
- Electric services
- HVAC electrical requirements
- Grounding and bonding systems
- Low voltage technology
- Telephone and data systems
- Security and fire alarm systems
Mr. Mortazavi’s expertise in the creation of professional design documents will assist in the design layout of the security system during the all phases of document development throughout the project. During implementation, Mr. Mortazavi’s expertise will prove invaluable in the coordination of design documents with systems in varying degrees of implementation. Mr. Mortazavi is responsible for:
- Engineering design review and quality control of production service
- Maintain production quality control for both AutoCAD 2D and Revit drawing packages
- Maintaining established standards for the practice
- Building successful teams – in scale, maturity and effectiveness
- Leading all hiring for engineering (full-time, part-time, and contractors)
- Project scheduling & coordination
- Establishing a strong framework for cross-functional collaboration and partnership success
