Alex Z. Balsoy brings more than 15 years of experience in physical and cyber security to Guidepost’s Security and Technology Consulting practice. He specializes in enterprise-level security systems for critical infrastructure, including access control, video systems, and cybersecurity services such as network, server, and endpoint hardening, as well as vulnerability and penetration testing to thoroughly assess security risks.
Mr. Balsoy has overseen pre-deployment testing, documentation, and standardization for numerous enterprise technologies, and has developed and managed effective deployment strategies. He has also managed server and software life cycles, leveraging his expertise to implement end-user training initiatives that streamline operational processes and establish a common baseline of system knowledge across distributed portfolios.
In addition to performing security audits involving questionnaires and evidence collection for critical infrastructure clients, Mr. Balsoy has extensive experience with various security software and interfaces, with specialized expertise in GearBox, Wireshark, and Ekahau system scans.
