Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in domestic and international investigations, compliance solutions, monitoring, and security and technology consulting, today announced the additions of Christopher “Todd” Doss, senior managing director and Matthew A. Corwin, CISA, CISSP, CDPSE, managing director, to the firm’s Cybersecurity Consulting practice group. Doss will also serve as the practice group leader.

Doss has led more than 4,000 cyber incident responses and investigations, gaining an in-depth knowledge of designing and executing response plans and leading cybersecurity risk management projects. He also holds a comprehensive range of expertise across the full spectrum of investigative and enforcement activities. This includes developing and leading global cybersecurity teams, criminal, counterterrorism, and counterintelligence operations in high risk, complex, and high-tech environments, as well as addressing complex and politically challenging investigations. Prior to joining Guidepost, Doss spent four years in a leadership consulting position serving as the cybersecurity and incident response global lead for a risk consulting firm. He also spent more than 20 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, rising to the highest levels of leadership, reporting directly to the director.

Corwin has more than 20 years of experience specializing in privacy, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity with specialized hands-on experience directing the implementation and integration of secure design principles and service engineering initiatives leveraging the latest technologies. He has a successful track record of facilitating technology-business alignment while balancing risk exposure and corporate growth. Corwin also has extensive expertise in analyzing technical architecture to attain and demonstrate best-in-class industry and regulatory standards compliance in global environments. Prior to joining Guidepost, Corwin was a security GRC leader at NYDIG, a leading financial institution offering a full suite of services for institutions and corporations, including crypto asset custody. In addition, Corwin was a vCISO, vice president of security and privacy risk and general counsel at Truvantis, a cybersecurity consulting firm. He established the firm’s privacy practice and expanded its security consulting practice for GRC and regulatory compliance.
