A private client in the United States suffered a theft of several hundred thousand dollars of designer clothing from their residence. Guidepost reviewed surveillance footage, conducted interviews with suspects, surveyed local resellers for recovery of the items, and liaised with law enforcement officials which resulted in an arrest.
During the investigation, we piloted a mobile device tracking program that allowed us to locate a vehicle that had been outside the home in the early morning hours and followed its movement to a storage unit facility two hours from the client’s residence. Guidepost also conducted a physical security assessment of the individual’s home to identify gaps in security to prevent a similar occurrence from happening in the future.
