International Insurance Holding Company

At the request of the existing compliance department, Guidepost was engaged to conduct an enterprise-wide gap assessment of the global insurance holding company. The company needed assistance identifying weaknesses in its existing compliance processes, and evaluating areas for improvement as the compliance program continued to mature and evolve. Given the complex regulatory environment, the compliance department was also seeking a clearer scope of its responsibilities as related to the legal, internal audit, corporate governance and other related functions, in addition to ensuring compliance with international, federal and state laws impacting the entity’s operations. The assessment resulted in a variety of recommendations aimed at enhancing enterprise-wide compliance practices and monitoring programs.
