Bureau Veritas (formerly Curtis-Straus)
An OSHA Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, Curtis-Straus, tests, reviews and certifies high-end goods, electronics, medical devices, and other consumer products. OSHA appointed Guidepost Solutions’ CEO as the Independent Monitor with respect to potential conflicts of interest with Curtis-Straus’s certifications. Our team conducts a separate independent review for each certification through researching each product’s critical component to ensure the products being tested and reviewed by the lab were not manufactured by the lab; its parent company, Bureau Veritas, a global certification company; or any of its global subsidiaries. Additionally, we monitor all acquisitions and sales to maintain a current and accurate conflict list and provide an annual report to OSHA regarding review results.
