Steven Draghi has more than 35 years of experience as a security systems and project management professional with expertise in security systems design and implementation. He is a proven Associate Vice President with an understanding of design and implementation criteria, systems testing, and project delivery. He handles project documents, drawings, and specifications, and has worked to develop bid documents. Mr. Draghi is experienced in delivering successful client interaction, design and project team management, and site inspections. His security background, knowledge of multiple low voltage systems, as well as client experience, will establish design continuity and support the project to progress efficiently.

Prior to joining Guidepost Solutions, Mr. Draghi served as a Senior Security Consultant for Shen Milsom & Wilke, where he utilized his years of systems and field experience to provide consulting, project management, engineering, and design services for a variety of clients domestically and internationally.

Before joining Shen Milsom & Wilke, Mr. Draghi had a successful career as a project manager and engineer for Corporate Security Services, Inc., and as a Senior Project Designer and Project Manager for Kroll Security Group.

As a Principal Consultant with Guidepost Solutions, Mr. Draghi is charged with assisting clients in the design, engineering, acquisition, and implementation of scalable security technology solutions utilizing his vast systems and operational experience.

Penn State Millennium Science Center* – University Park, Pennsylvania

Mr. Draghi provided security systems design services to develop a 270,000 sq. ft. science center with classroom and laboratory space with access control and video surveillance for restricted areas.

Philadelphia Family Court* – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Mr. Draghi provided security consulting and engineering design services for a 13-story court facility with 29 courtrooms, a sheriff’s area with a central command center, a sally port and 19 holding cells, administration offices, judge’s chambers, and a parking facility. The security systems include access control, alarm monitoring, IP video, intercom, x-ray, and magnetometers.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission* – Washington, District of Columbia

Mr. Draghi provided security systems design for a 6-story office facility and parking structure. Security systems included access control, alarm monitoring, video surveillance, and intrusion alarm.

Smithsonian Institution Support Center* – Washington, District of Columbia

Mr. Draghi provided security systems design of a 40,000 sq. ft. renovation project, that included support and warehouse space. Security systems included access control, alarm monitoring, video surveillance, intercom, and intrusion alarm.

Orange Regional Medical Center* – Wallkill, New York

Mr. Draghi provided security design for a 600,000 sq. ft. facility with 374-beds, a Birthing Center, Cardiac Center, and a Level 2 Trauma Center. Security systems included access control, alarm monitoring, vehicle gate, video surveillance, intercom, infant tagging, and a security command center.

Hard Rock Stadium – Miami Dolphins / Miami Florida

Mr. Draghi provided security design for three phases of renovations at Hard Rock Stadium. The renovations included upper and lower concourse levels, club level, all back of house space, suite level, parking lots and gate areas of the stadium. The designed systems included access control, video surveillance, intercom communications, and vehicle gate and crash bollard systems. Included as part of the renovations was the addition of a new security command center which Mr. Draghi helped design.

In addition to the design, Mr. Draghi provided project management during the construction phase as well as commissioning services and project close out services.

SunTrust Park – Atlanta Braves / Atlanta Georgia

Mr. Draghi provided owner’s representative services for the ballpark and security design services for four parking garages within the ballpark property. Security systems included in the design included access control, video surveillance, intercom communications, emergency phones and vehicle bollard systems.

Mr. Draghi provided project management services and coordinated the implementation of the integrated systems located within the ballpark, parking garages, and plaza battery areas surrounding the ballpark. Commissioning and project close out services were provided as well.
