Principal Consultant

Ramone A. Kegler brings 20 years of professional experience and expertise in the areas of program/project management and planning, physical security, implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed networked security solutions. As a Principal Consultant within the Guidepost Solutions Project Management Team, he coordinates and assists the project managers in meeting project and client deliverables, milestones, and deadlines. He is responsible for building client contacts, responding to customer inquiries (RFI’s); reviewing and responding to project submittal documentation; and providing effective communication and project documentation. Mr. Kegler is highly skilled in his ability to work with internal teams to better create processes and procedures for accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.

Mr. Kegler’s portfolio covers a wide range of projects, from local venues to major stadiums. He has been instrumental in the development and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions for high-profile stadiums throughout the United States as well as collegiate and high school stadiums. Mr. Kegler’s expertise spans across several spectrums, encompassing video surveillance, access control, and perimeter intrusion detection. His attention to detail provides a holistic approach to security system design through the integration of advanced technologies with strategic planning and ensures comprehensive protection against evolving threats. Beyond his technical prowess, Mr. Kegler has earned accolades within the industry and the trust of his high-profile clients. His dedication to the enhancement of safety and security in the public sector is a reflection of his commitment to his clients.

Mr. Kegler served more than nine years in the United States Army in various leadership roles within the telecommunications, supply, and logistics capacity. After completion of his enlistment, he began working at BearCom Wireless Communications as a lead field service technician. In this role, he supported numerous trunked radio systems within the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex that included the Cities of Dallas, Frisco, and Irvin; the Children’s Medical Center; Ericsson; and Motorola.

Mr. Kegler’s first position as a project manager was with Alcatel Lucent Network Service Division and the Fixed Wireless Division, where he managed the engineering and installation of LiteSpan 2000/2012 and 1,000 Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) equipment throughout the United States. Previously, he was a security systems specialist for Children’s Medical Center of Dallas where his responsibilities included managing, administering, and protecting the integrity of the hospital wide area network (WAN) security systems. Mr. Kegler performed multiple Lenel installations and upgrades beginning with Lenel OnGuard v5.12 and ending with v6.5. He also designed and implemented the Security Systems Training program for the security dispatchers, security system operators, as well as the leadership team.
