Managing Director

Dr. Bridget Bratt is a seasoned technology and privacy leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning healthcare, financial services, supply chain, and consulting. As managing director in the Guidepost Solutions Privacy practice, she helps organizations navigate complex data governance, protection, and compliance challenges while building pragmatic strategies that unlock the value of well-governed data.

Dr. Bratt has built and scaled data protection and governance practices within global consulting firms, advising Fortune 100 clients on privacy, classification, and compliance programs. Her leadership extends to developing go-to-market strategies, creating enterprise data initiatives, and mentoring senior leaders and consultants to drive innovation in security and privacy solutions. She has also served in strategic roles across industries, where she designed and implemented enterprise data governance, master data management, and data quality strategies, as well as advised executives on aligning privacy programs with business outcomes.

In her most recent role as a director of data protection and privacy at a global consulting firm, Dr. Bratt launched a go-to-market strategy, position paper and offering for Executive Order 14117, establishing a framework to help organizations align with emerging federal data security requirements. She also served as a subject matter expert on key privacy and security regulations including GLBA, HIPAA, and Regulation S-P, advising leadership teams and clients on compliance strategies, governance standards, and data protection best practices.

Previously, Dr. Bratt led the development and growth of the Data Protection Practice at Optiv, a cybersecurity consultancy, where she provided expert guidance to Fortune 100 customers on comprehensive data strategies, emphasizing protection, governance, classification, and access management. She also led the establishment of long-term global data quality and data governance strategies and programs at DHL Logistics and developed and implemented a long-term data quality enterprise strategy, program, and baseline process for Humana Inc’s data governance program and corporate data strategy. Earlier in her career, Dr. Bridget spearheaded the design and implementation of an inaugural data governance program and federated data model for a nationwide children’s hospital and was a senior compliance officer at JPMorgan Chase.

A frequent speaker and thought leader, Dr. Bratt has authored publications and presented at industry conferences on topics such as Zero Trust, CCPA compliance, data resilience, and AI governance. She is an active member of professional associations including DAMA International, ISSA, and Women in Data, and she mentors rising professionals through national and local programs. In addition, she serves as an adjunct professor of Business Management and Strategy at the Franklin University Ross College of Business, where she develops and delivers courses on organizational leadership and the fundamentals of business.

Dr. Bratt earned her Doctorate in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership from Franklin University, where her dissertation explored transformational leadership and organizational culture in technology. She also holds multiple professional certifications, including Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Leader, and certifications in Agile methodologies, R programming, and data science fundamentals.

Passionate about aligning data protection with organizational strategy, Dr. Bratt combines deep technical expertise with executive leadership to help clients safeguard sensitive data, comply with regulatory requirements, and build cultures of trust in data-driven enterprises.
