Summary / Objective

Guidepost Ltd. is expanding its team of exceptional security professionals and seeks an experienced Security Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-value physical security and security technology projects across the EMEA region.

This full-time position is ideal for a motivated and technically skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment – combining project and people management expertise, technical acumen, and client relationship excellence.

The successful candidate will oversee all stages of project delivery, from design and implementation to quality assurance and stakeholder management, ensuring that Guidepost’s clients receive best in class security solutions, tailored to their operational needs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent large-scale security design and implementation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Oversee physical security and low-voltage system design, integration, commissioning, and quality control.
  • Contribute to GPS client requirements for corporate, operational or risk/threat management security consulting projects as aligned with candidate skill sets.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of client engagement – serving as the primary point of contact, ensuring satisfaction, and driving long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, architects, engineers, and integrators, to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate projects risks, ensuring project issues are tracked, resolved, and documented.
  • Where required, develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation, ensuring clear communication and accountability across stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, contributing to proposals, and supporting the pursuit of target market sectors.
  • Partner with senior leadership to communicate strategic goals, operational plans, and project progress across the region.
  • Manage special consulting assignments and oversee internal project manager deliverables for key clients.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 – 8 years of project management experience, or
  • 10+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably within the physical security industry or related engineering fields.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-site, multi-phase projects across complex stakeholder environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PRINCE2 / PMP.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management life cycles, with the ability to develop project plans, define milestones, and monitor deliverables.
  • Strong command of Office 365, Bluebeam, and other project management or CAD-related tools.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (with flexibility as required by project demands)
  • Travel: Regional travel to client sites and occasional international travel to other Guidepost offices or project locations is expected.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, much of the work may be done sitting at a desk, using a computer, typing, handling phone calls, filing, and using office equipment such as like printers and copiers. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
