Bradley L. Dizik / David Moncure JD, CIPP/US
Event Date 06/26/2025

Starting July 9, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice will begin enforcing its new “Bulk Sensitive Data Rule,” a sweeping regulation aimed at restricting the transfer and storage of sensitive U.S. personal and government-related data—especially to entities linked to countries of concern. This rule, stemming from Executive Order 14117, introduces complex compliance obligations for organizations handling biometric, health, financial, and geolocation data, regardless of whether the data is anonymized or encrypted.

Join experts from Guidepost Solutions and Steptoe LLP for a timely and practical webinar that will unpack:

  1. The scope and implications of the DOJ’s new data transfer and storage rules
  2. Key compliance deadlines and enforcement risks
  3. How to build a robust due diligence program to mitigate misconduct and regulatory exposure
  4. What to do if your organization is targeted by regulators

Whether you’re in healthcare, finance, life sciences, or any data-intensive industry, this session will equip you with the insights and strategies needed to stay compliant and protected.
