Juan Rodriguez

Director

Mr. Rodriguez manages large scale investigation projects and business intelligence matters. His experience includes several investigations in support of complex multi-jurisdictional litigation in Central and South America and the United States. Mr. Rodriguez is a trusted advisor in matters involving human source intelligence, often traveling to remote and sensitive regions in order to gather actionable information that provides strategic advantages to his clients.

Some of the diverse matters Mr. Rodriguez has been involved in include compliance investigations involving the cattle industry in Central America, and litigation support and reputation management cases involving the mining industry in Bolivia and Guatemala, the oil industry in Ecuador and the banana industry in Colombia. He has also participated in internal investigations involving manufacturing companies in Mexico, responding to whistleblower complaints of abuse by managers.

While Mr. Rodriguez is considered a specialist in Latin America investigations, he also spends considerable time conducting pre-investment due diligence investigations and asset searches for enforcement of judgments in the U.S.

Mr. Rodriguez previously worked with an Austin, TX based security and investigations firm, Lucena Group, where he oversaw the company’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). Before joining Guidepost, he was an associate director at Custom Information Services, Inc., a specialized investigations firm focused on the Americas.
