He is responsible for managing security consulting and design projects for key clients, ensuring quality control and schedule requirements, managing project budgets and deadlines, and developing strategies for the protection of people, assets, and reputations
Mr. Miller has an in-depth background with security systems design, network design, systems integration, industry standard security systems, physical security, commissioning standards, testing practices, and documentation management.
Most recently, Mr. Miller spent five years with Jones Lang LaSalle in various roles. As a property manager, he developed policies and procedures, managed capital projects, and led operations for accounting processes, vendor management, contracts, and team member activities. Mr. Miller also served as director of security where he developed and oversaw security and life safety programs including policies and procedures, training, resources, and materials. He was responsible for the installation and maintenance of all security systems (security management system, camera system, badge control, etc.), identifying and managing capital budgets and projects, leading the security team, and leading life safety training and drills.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Miller was an executive team leader of Assets Protection for Target. He assumed responsibility for managing day-to-day complete store operations; conducted interviews for theft-related cases, implemented action plans to ensure safety and security, and investigated theft and workplace misconduct to resolve cases quickly and efficiently.
