Eddie Koh brings more than 15 years of experience in varied industries and roles to Guidepost Solutions as the APAC regional director. He has developed a wide range of experience in the APAC security technology market and leading security technologies that include multiple security system manufacturers.
Most recently, Mr. Koh spent eight years with a leading integrator in Asia where he advanced from a technical and pre-sales role into a full solution sales position, eventually leading a five-person commercial sales team.
As part of his commercial sales portfolio, Mr. Koh supported the gamut from small organisations to the big names in the field of data centres, oil & gas, education and business services with program management and end-to-end project oversight. His role included the design of innovative and effective security solutions in-line with his clients’ needs. Mr. Koh also led RFP efforts and provided a unique blend of experience preparing and responding to stringent bid submission requirements and adhering to pre-defined tendering timelines.
Mr. Koh’s education includes a diploma in Electronics from Singapore Polytechnic and a degree in computing from Portsmouth University in the United Kingdom.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Koh developed web applications for a software consultancy. He also provided project and program management data centre suite fit outs for leading international banks and technology companies.
In addition to his technical abilities, Mr. Koh prides himself on the development of long-term strategic relationships and client solutions; and his experience in advising and discussing current and emerging security technologies.
