March 8, 2023 - The Department of Justice has reportedly hired several oversight veterans for its Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA) in anticipation of increased scrutiny from Republicans in Congress. Crystal Jezierski suggests in a recent article that the OLA will work to strike a collaborative tone with the House Republican majority that could help the DOJ prevail in a potential contempt of Congress lawsuit.
