Position: Project Manager: Remote or New York

Seeking a seasoned, high achiever with proven communication skills, subject matter expertise, managerial experience & strategic planning capabilities.  Time management skills are essential with proven written and verbal communication skills.

 Job Duties

  • Physical Security and Security Technology assessment, design, RFP, project management, construction administration, witness testing and commissioning services
  • Security and low-voltage system project management, design, implementation, and quality control
  • Carry out field-based site surveys, assessments, audits & take part in project-based meetings
  • Manage consulting assignments for key clients and support large project team deliverables as directed by management
  • Meeting client budget, quality control, and scheduling requirements for assigned projects
  • Track project related issues and work with project team members to follow up on issues and status. Identify barriers to resolving issues and work to develop strategies to overcome barriers; provide follow activities around issues
  • Customer relations, including maintenance of customer satisfaction metrics, responding to customer inquiries, answering phone inquiries, and answering technical end user questions
  • Responsible for effectively communicating both internally and externally project documentation
  • Develop and implement best practices, standards, and processes
  • Pursue opportunities for growth from clients, markets, and relationships; build and leverage relationships founded on trust and integrity in order to facilitate new business opportunities

Required Education and Experience

  • Possess minimum of 5 years of experience in technical / physical security design, specification and implementation
  • A bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of project management experience, or 10 years of project management experience
  • Subject matter experience in physical security/extra-low-voltage systems industry
  • A strategic thinker with excellent verbal & written communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Experience working with architects and design teams on project design and delivery
  • Understanding of construction specifications as they relate to security and extra-low- voltage systems
  • The ability to self-motivate, self-manage and inspire excellence
  • Understanding of a project management life cycle, with an ability to read and understand proposals and develop preliminary project plans (tasks, timeframes, deliverables)

Preferred Education

  • Prince 2, CPP, PSP, and/or PMP certifications and other construction and or project management certifications that bring value to our delivery of services
  • Experience working in Office 365 and Bluebeam software

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel

Travel out-of-area to other regional offices and overnight travel is expected.
